This morning I received a text message regarding the date and time wherein Pope John Paul II died. According to the said message, the Pope died at 9:37 on April 2.

Actually this is just a game. A mathematical game. Okay, let us multiply 9 and 37, thus giving us the product of 333. Remember, that the pope died on April 2, so we can try multiplying 333 by 2 which is equal to 666, which is the number of the beast in the book of Revelation by Apostle John.

Remember this is just a game... a game that sometimes tell the truth, because if we will really study the truth written in the Bible and the truth regarding the papacy, we will understand that the one who has the number 666 is really the pope.

Actually, ang post kong ito ay isang commento lamang sa post ni Agustinong Pinoy sa kaniyang blog, ang sabi:

Kaninang hapon ay napanoon ko ang programa ng mga nasa Ang Dating Daan. Sila'y nag-react sa isang patutsada ni Ka Ramil ng Iglesya ni Kristo na kung saan sinabi niyang: "Sino ka ba, Eliseo Soriano? Kahit sa aki'y di ka uubra." Na siyang sinagot naman nina Josel at iba pa: "E sino naman si Eraño Manalo."

Kung tutuusi'y wala nang maaasahan sa dalawang grupong ito kundi ang magbangayan at mag-asaran. Sayang ang "air-time" na maaari sanang magamit sa ibang bagay. E sino nga ba si Eliseo Soriano o Eraño Manalo kung ikukumpara dito?

Ang totoo po hanga ako sa Santo Papa regarding sa kaniyang mga accomplishments as leader at politician. Pero ang tanong, bilang leader ng relihiyon, nagampanan kaya niya ang mga kalooban ng Dios? Naituro niya kaya sa kaniyang mga nasasakupan ang dalisay na aral ni Cristo?

Naaalala ko po kasi ang ginawang pag-angkin sino mang Santo Papa ng Iglesia Katolika na diumano sila ang Vicar of Christ. Sila daw po ang kahalili ni Cristo. Bakit, may katapusan po ba ang karapatan ni Cristo na dapat siyang palitan bilang ulo ng tunay na Iglesia?

Pangalawa po, ay ang pag-aangkin ng mga Papang ito na sila daw po ang HOLY FATHER. Isa pong kalapastanganan sa harap ng tunay na Dios na siyang tunay na HOLY FATHER.

Ang dalawang kalapastanganang ito ay iilan lamang sa mga gawang labag sa kalooban ng Dios na hindi kailan man nakikita ng mga devutong Katoliko, sa pag-aakala nila na ang kanilang relihiyong napaaniban ay siyang tunay na Iglesia, ang hindi nila alam, isa lamang itong bunga ng natalikod na Iglesiang kinaaniban ng mga Apostol noong unang siglo.

How long to become a priest?

In my other blog, "Plans And My Future", I told you that during my highschool years, I was recruited by a seminarian to join them in the seminary at the St. Peter Minor-Seminary in Butuan City. I tried to ask him all the questions raised on my head regarding the vocation, including the length of time before I became a true priest.

The seminarian answered me that, it would take me 10 to 12 years before I would be ordained as a priest. The first 4 years, will be the time to take the pre-seminary course or a Bachelor of Arts wherein I would be taking up basic education subjects, including Philosophy. Then another 4 years for seminary courses wherein I would be taking up Theology subjects. Then 2 years being a deacon or commonly called on-the-job-training. Then finally the ordaination of being a priest.

It is such a long process of formation from an ordinary member of the Roman Catholic Church to Priesthood. But I really wondered why, priests became homosexual after such a long process. I already had posted here the Bishops Reports on Sexual Abuse wherein mostly the victims were boys.

Who will be the next Pope 2005? I am asking my self whenever I think of the Pope John Paul II. I even wonder if the next pope is better than John Paul II or is worst that those of the early popes who authored the death of millions of people around the world by killing them on the stake of fire.

I will just hope that although the Pope called himself as the HOLY FATHER which is intended only to call the true God who is the real HOLY FATHER, that the new pope will be as good as the Poland Pope who became the world's greatest man of peace.

Pope John Paul II was laid to rest in Saint Peter’s basilica on Friday after an elaborate and emotional funeral rite attended by about one million people and watched by countless others around the world.

Vatican officials said the pope was buried in a triple casket in the crypt close to the spot believed to contain the remains of Peter, the apostle chosen by Jesus Christ to found his church almost 2,000 years ago.

The burial inaugurated a nine-day period of mourning for the Polish-born pontiff, who died on Saturday aged 84 after a 26-year reign, the third longest in history. On April 18, Roman Catholic cardinals are to meet behind closed doors to start the process of electing his successor.

your website is stupid, narrow-minded and ill advised. i suggest that you be economically productive rather than wasting your time slandering and twisting faiths and the bible for your stupid, narrow-minded and ill advised objectives.

This message came from Mr. Gregory Sutton of Aberdeen.

You know, that kind of reaction is just normal especially if someone attacks our faith. I also had experienced it before, when Brother John Ho told me that my service to God through the Catholic Church is useless. When I heard that, I hadn't control my self, and eventually I punched him on his stomach. It happened on June 1998 in Cebu City.

But I was thankful to him because he didn't treat me as his enemy, instead he continued to bring me the truth that was written on the Bible, until time came that I fully understood that the Roman Catholic Church is just a product of the apostasy of the first century Church of Christ.

She too is one of the Catholics who gather themselves in the churches around the world to pray for the recovery of the pope. Papal Election or Conclave

A visitor of this blog sent me email and ask me how the Pope is elected.

In electing a new Pope, cardinals around the world will gather in Rome to participate in Papal election process called as conclave. But it will only happen if Pope John Paul II who is the current Pope will die.

Conclave is derived from the Latin word, "Cum Clavi" which means "with a key". With a key? This is because the election process will be done closed door inside the Sistine Chapel wherein only members of the College of Cardinals are allowed to enter the election process without any interference of the media.

What happen inside the Sistine Chapel?

From the book Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, it was described that each of the cardinals will write down into the ballot the name of the cardinal he nominated for the papacy. Then after counting, the ballots will be burned with oil so that the smoke that will scape from the chimney will be dark. This is to tell the people in Vatican that they still don't have elected a pope. The final ballots will be burn without oil so that the smoke will be white which means, a new pope has been elected.

Then after the election there will be some ceremonies to be done including the giving of the name which will be called to the new pope, and the ordination. And then the senior cardinal deacon will announce to the waiting people the new pope and it will be succeded by the apostolic blessing.

The Roman Catholic Church is currently facing a problem what to do next, while the current pope is in a serious health problem. Pope John Paul II is in critical condition in his Vatican residence and has already received the last sacrament.

So in other words, the catholic world is now waiting for the death of their pope? Yes, the Pope... who is the head of the Vatican City and the Head of the Church - The Roman Catholic Church.

The Pope serves as heads - 2 heads.... Sound familiar! May be in the prophecy of Apostle John in his book of Revelation. The Pope is the head of two different society or in other words, he has TWO (2) HORNS.

Anyway.... to let you know, the health of the 84 year old pope has deteriorated rapidly since February 1, 2005 when he was admitted to the hospital with breathing complications. And now, he still suffer complications or other body infections. But before that, he was already confined to a wheelchair for several years due to his parkinsons disease.

But what if the pope will be in coma? So, that means, before he became incapacitated his power has not been left to someone else to head the Church and the State. Does it mean a big trouble with the Church just like what had happen during the dark ages, where cardinals competed with each other and even killed rivals just to win the position of papacy? I hope not.

Did you know the truth about Easter?

Maybe, Filipinos who read the special section of the Philippine Star featuring the Easter, realized that Easter is not a Christian celebration but a pagan or heathen celebration adapted by the Roman Catholic Church:

The observance of Easter is rooted in ancient pagan origins. Long before it became a triumphant moment for the Christian Faith, the day was celebrated as a festival known as Eostre. The Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring and dawn is called by this same name and her festival falls on the day of the Vernal Equinox or spring. From this Special Section published by the said daily, it is clear that Easter celebration was once a pagan celebration for the pagan goddies. If this is so, should the Christians celebrate this heathen celebration?

And as a true Christian, Apostle Paul taught:

17So this I say and solemnly testify in [the name of] the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the heathen (the Gentiles) do in their perverseness [in the folly, vanity, and emptiness of their souls and the futility] of their minds.

18Their [a]moral understanding is darkened and their reasoning is beclouded. [They are] alienated (estranged, self-banished) from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the ignorance (the want of knowledge and perception, the willful blindness) that is [b]deep-seated in them, due to their hardness of heart [to the insensitiveness of their moral nature].(Ephesians 4:17-18, Amplified Bible

According to Apostle Paul, the true Christian must no longer live as the heathen, and therefore celebrating Easter should not be done by them.

Catholic's Law On Eating Meat

I know that all members of the Roman Catholic Church who are active with the Church's activities and even few of the inactive members knew that there is a law imposed by the church for the celebration of the so called "Cuaresma". This law is called, the "Law of Abstinence".

The law of abstinence prohibits its members in indulging meat diet as stated in the Catholic Encyclopedia (newadvent.org):

...law of abstinence prohibits all responsible subjects from indulging in meat diet on duly appointed days. Meat diet comprises the flesh, blood, or marrow of such animals and birds as constitute flesh meat according to the appreciation of intelligent and law-abiding Christians.

In other words, in duly appointed days, members are prohibited to eat meat.

But did you know that this law or church doctrine is not of God? The Apostle Paul on his first letter to Timothy said:

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.(I Tim 4:1,3 New International Version)

The law which forbids man to eat certain food is not a teaching of God but it is taught by demons.

The food mentioned here is clarified by Apostle Paul by saying,

...from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. (ibid).

Actually on my previous post, I told you that I didn't feel any regret in leaving the Roman Catholic Church for serving God through this Church is vain and therefore, everything is useles.

You'll might asked me why? To tell you, a chuch that teaches doctrines of devil is not the Church of God but the Church of Devil. The Church of God teaches simply the doctrines of God taught by our Lord Jesus Christ and everything are written on the Holy Scriptures.

During my days in Catholic Church, this day was my busiest day during the Cuaresma. I was busy preparing things needed for the Last Supper on Thursday, for the procession (Station of the Cross) on Friday morning, 7 last words on Friday afternoon and the Resurrection on Saturday evening and "Pagsalubong" on Sunday dawn.

On this day, when I finalized all the lyrics of the songs for the Church's overhead projector. I even attended all practices made by the Parish Choir, Children as angel for the Sunday activities. I tried also to give instructions to all the altar boys.

I miss all those things but I feel no regret if I can no longer attend to those obligations because those were just useless in the sight of God.

Bishops Reports on Sexual Abuse

I don't know the sexual abuse committed by Priests are connected to their celebacy doctrine. But maybe it is not that related to celebacy since most of the victims of the Priests abuse are males/boys. So, it is with regards to the homosexuality of Priests.

Here's the news on the Bishops report on Sexual Abuse:

Roman Catholic bishops reported on Friday that they had received 1,092 new accusations of sexual abuse by priests as they released the second annual survey of the church's procedures for handling and preventing such abuse by clergy and employees.

Kathleen McChesney, executive director of the Office of Child and Youth Protection of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, said the overwhelming majority of the accusations, which were made against 756 priests, concerned incidents that took place about 30 years ago. Twenty-two accusations of abuse were made by children in 2004, and they were all turned over to the police, Dr. McChesney said. ... (source: The New York Times)

And take note there are accusations made by children.

The 1,092 new accusations of abuse were made by 1,083 people, mostly men. Last year the bishops released an analysis conducted by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, based on figures from bishops and religious orders, that found 10,667 minors had allegedly been abused from 1950 to 2002. During a sentencing hearing, his accuser, now a 27-year-old firefighter, described the convicted former priest as a "monster" and "the lowest of the low." There was scattered applause when Mr. Shanley, 74, was escorted from the packed courtroom in leg irons.

Defence lawyer Frank Mondano said he was worried that his client could die in prison, "given his age and frailty." He also expressed concern about his client's safety behind bars, especially since John Geoghan, another defrocked priest, was slain by a fellow inmate in 2003. Reuters

Ash Wednesday

Today the Catholic Church including its breakaway group (Protestant Churches) celebrate the Ash Wednesday which marks the beginning of the 40 days fasting and abstinence, that is from Ash Wednesday to Good Friday.

Christians (Catholic and other Protestant Sects) are being marked with the ash from the palms of the previous year's Palm Sunday, in the form of a cross and remind them that they came from ash and to the ash they will return.

But did you know how did Ash Wednesday originated? From the HOLIDAYSPOT.COM we have found this:

the custom of marking the head with ashes on this Day is said to have originated during the papacy of Gregory the Great (590-604).

In other words, this custom was started only during the time of Pope Gregory the Great (590-604) and therefore had not been practiced by the Christians during the first Century. It only means that, it is one of the practices of the church claiming Christians, which can be considered as an invention of man not from God.

From this custom, actually, it reminds us of something. Did you know what I mean?

Valentine's Day

Since my grade school days, it has been taught to us already that February 14 is the day of love which is honored to the Catholic saint, St. Valentine of Rome. Just like Christmas, songs for Valentine were being taught to us. We even told to send greeting cards to our loveones.

With regards to its origin, I am not sure what's really the real history of this celebration, because different historians tell different history of it.

But the truth is, before we first celebrated the feast of St. Valentine who was the saint of love and lovers, there was a pagan feast celebrated on February 14. It was the feat of Lupercalia, which honored Juno. Juno was the queen of the Roman gods and goddesses and she was also the goddess of women and marriage. During this celebration, women wrote love letters which was also called billets and then leave them in a large urn. The men will then draw a note and will pursue the womem who wrote the note they had chosen.

This kind of celebration was then Christianized by the Roman Catholic Church, according to the Encyclopedia.com:

Western European Christian holiday, originally the Roman feast of Lupercalia . It was christianized in memory of the martyrdom of St. Valentine in AD 270, ...

In other words, the said pagan feast was adapted by the Church in memory of St. Valentine.

Hallow E’en as it called by Irish, means Hollow Eve (www.holidayspot.com). It is the night before All Hollows Day or All Saints day which is observed on November 1. Originally celebrated by Celtic people (www.encarta.msn.com) or is derived from the pagan festival (www.tcpstudios.com). It is the time where people dress up as ghosts, witches, devils, fairies and other imps.

Take note, this activity or festival is derived from the pagan festival; therefore, it should not be practiced by the true Christians.
